Over the past two months, the population of Gaza have faced severe shortages in the essentials of life as well as medical equipment and medicine. The basic food and fuel commidities have been hit hardly as Egypt closed the majority of the tunnels which were used by Gaza people to circomvent the blackade imposed by Israel to get their needs.
Another significant implication of the recent events in Egypt is denying thousands of Gaza people the right for free movement out and into Gaza as the Egyptian Authorties have closed Rafah borders, the only outelt for Gaza people to the rest of the world. International Humanitarian law holds both Israel and Egypt responsible for caging 1,6 million people in Gaza in an open-air prison.
