Press Release - Launch of CEPR Website

CEPR is an independent non-government organisation established to promote dialogue and understanding between European, Palestinian and Arab parliamentarians and policy-makers, seeking a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on justice and the restoration of Palestinian rights in accordance with international humanitarian and human rights law.

Specifically CEPR seeks a more robust EU foreign policy to the Occupied Palestinian Territories that will promote and defend Palestinian rights and self-determination

CEPR facilitates dialogue between governments and politicians in Europe and the Middle East in order to foster a greater understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

CEPR's website will showcase the organisations work and provide well-informed research and analysis on relevant issues. At a time when policy makers will be questioning the wisdom of pursuing a two-state solution and the details of negotiations are made public, CEPR will provide a reliable platform for progressive debate.

Ends.

"The EU position on settlements is clear: they are illegal under international law and an obstacle to peace."
